TACCO Showcases Thai Cacao at Thailand Wellness and Healthcare Expo 2024, Highlighting Its Health Benefits and Market Potential
The Department of Industrial Promotion extended its support to the Thai Cacao and Chocolate Trade Association (TACCO) in presenting a booth at the Thailand Wellness and Healthcare Expo 2024, held from August 16–18, 2024, at Hall 99, BITEC Bangna. Organized by PMG-Thai Development Co., Ltd., the event was spearheaded by CEO Ms. Narintip Wiriyabunditkul, who brought together over 170 leading brands in health, medical, wellness, and spa industries to showcase innovations and comprehensive services under one roof.
Among the highlights of the expo, TACCO’s booth emerged as a key attraction. Its innovative concept seamlessly integrated cacao and chocolate into the wellness and healthcare landscape. Visitors were introduced to the scientifically-backed health benefits of cacao and chocolate, including their high antioxidant content, cardiovascular support, stress relief properties, and mental wellness benefits.
The booth featured a range of wellness-oriented cacao products such as functional chocolate beverages and cacao-based skincare items. Educational materials and live discussions emphasized the antioxidant power of cacao, fostering lively engagement and expanding awareness of Thai cacao’s potential in the health sector.
TACCO also served as a platform for thought leadership, hosting informative sessions on the therapeutic and preventive roles of cacao and chocolate in modern wellness. This initiative not only elevated the perception of Thai cacao and chocolate as health-conscious products but also aligned with global trends in preventative health and natural remedies.
More than a product showcase, this event marked a strategic move to position Thai cacao within the wellness consumer market. It also underscored the value of public-private collaboration in advancing Thailand’s cacao industry sustainably, both domestically and on the global stage.
